As the Meet the Parents saga continues ten years later, Gaylord “Greg" Focker (Ben Stiller), a male-nurse moonlighting as a pharmaceutical sales rep, his wife Pam (Teri Polo) and their children the Little Fockers, Henry and Samantha are gathering for the holidays. Excitement grows and tensions mount as Greg’s parents, Bernie and Rozalin Focker (Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand) converge with the clashing personalities of Pam’s mom Dina Byrnes (Blythe Danner) and the disapproving father-in-law and retired CIA agent Jack Byrnes (Robert DeNiro). Guest appearances from Harvey Keitel, Laura Dern and Jessica Alba round-out the star-studded cast in the third installment of this beloved Hollywood series.
As the holidays roll around, Jack Byrnes has big ideas for his son-in-law, but Greg Focker might not be ready to pass the battery of tests needed to become the next patriarch in the family tree created by the hobby genealogist. Now peddling pharmaceuticals and erectile dysfunction drugs, Greg Focker is a hapless dad and lovable family man just trying to make ends meet, get along with his in-laws and host a birthday party for the twins all at the same time. Conflict increases and laughter ensures when Pam’s obsessed ex-lover Kevin Rawley (Owen Wilson) enters the picture to lend a helping hand while the whole family is gathering to celebrate the birthday of the Focker twins.
Amid the chaos, Greg struggles to regain control of the situation and finally prove to Grandpa Jack that he is worthy of becoming the family patriarch. With rambunctious kids, free spirited parents and uptight in-laws, it isn’t easy being Gaylord “Greg” Focker. Once again, the family gathering and conflicting personalities of in-laws, parents and grandchildren seem to be enough to tear the family apart. The quirky, all-star cast brings the lovable characters to life for non-stop laughs in this over-the-top sequel.
